Ingredients
- 1 egg
- 80 g of Occelli® cold butter
- 360 g of 00 flour
- 100 g of white sugar
- 8 g baking powder
- 90 g of orange juice
- The grated zest of an orange
- 40 g of chocolate chips

Preparation
Procedure
Take the flour and arrange it in a fountain shape; add the sugar and yeast. Cut the butter into small pieces and add it to the mixture, working it with your fingertips until you obtain a crumbly mixture.
Add the orange juice , zest and beaten egg. Mix very well, then add the chocolate chips and mix everything together. Now, form a ball, cover it with cling film and let it rest for 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
Take the dough and form many balls the size of a walnut. Pass each ball first in the granulated sugar and then in the icing sugar covering them completely.
Line a baking tray with baking paper, place the balls inside and flatten them slightly. Bake in a hot static oven at 180 °C for 15 minutes.
Once the time has passed, take the orange biscuits out of the oven and, once cooled, sprinkle them again with icing sugar.
