Preparation
What Halloween party would it be without a nice themed cake? Here's how to prepare an excellent Halloween cake with Occelli® butter and simple but effective decorations!
Procedure
Break the Occelli® butter into pieces and melt it in a bain-marie. Beat the eggs together with 200 g of sugar: when you have obtained a smooth and frothy mixture, add the melted butter and the milk, pouring it little by little and always stirring the mixture. Finally, add the cocoa and the sifted flour together with the yeast, mixing everything well.
Line a cake pan with baking paper and pour in the cake mixture, which will then be baked in a preheated oven at 180°C, for about 35-40 minutes (do the classic toothpick test). Once baked, let it cool a little. Whip the cream well and spread it on the edges of the cake.
Now prepare the chocolate glaze: put the remaining 150 g of sugar in a saucepan together with the water and melt it over a low flame, stirring continuously. When you have obtained a syrup, add the chopped dark chocolate. Without stopping stirring and always keeping the flame low, melt the chocolate too. Pour the glaze obtained on the cake: cover it well on the surface, but only let the glaze drip on the edges without covering them completely, so that the contrast with the white of the cream is visible.
Melt the white chocolate in a saucepan, being careful not to burn it. Then transfer it to a small cone of baking paper with the tip cut off and complete the decoration by drawing a large spider web over the chocolate icing!
