- 1 roll of shortcrust pastry
- 350 g of Losa® Occelli
- 400g of courgettes
- 6 courgette flowers
- 2 eggs
- Nutmeg to taste
- Extra virgin olive oil to taste
- Salt to taste
Preparation
This savory courgette pie, also filled with tasty Losa® Occelli, is perfect as a delicious appetizer to enjoy in the warmer periods of the year to start a lunch, but also to serve in squares for a tasty aperitif!
Procedure
Preheat the oven to 180°C and, in the meantime, clean and wash the flowers and courgettes.
Cut the courgettes into julienne strips, put a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil in a pan and sear them, adjusting the salt according to your personal taste. Now, transfer everything into a bowl, add the eggs, the Losa® Occelli cut into small pieces, a grating of nutmeg and a pinch of salt; now, mix everything well.
Line a baking sheet with baking paper and lay out the roll of shortcrust pastry and prick the bottom with a fork. Then, pour the Losa and zucchini mixture onto the pastry and decorate with the zucchini flowers, arranging them in a radial pattern. Finally, fold the edges of the pastry inwards and bake for about 40 minutes.
