- 12 scallops
- 50 g Occelli® butter
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- Chives to garnish as needed
Preparation
Tender and delicious, Occelli® butter scallops are a refined appetizer, but also easy and quick to prepare: try them for an elegant fish-based dinner!
Procedure
After opening the scallop shells, take only the shells and wash them under running water, to eliminate any traces of sand.
Now, put the Occelli® butter to melt in a pan; when it is completely melted, add the scallops and cook them for one minute on each side, salting and peppering them on both sides.
Serve them piping hot together with the cooking juices, after decorating them with a little chives.
A little tip: if you like, you can flavor the butter with a few thyme leaves.
