Ingredients
- 300 g of flour
- 300 g of manitoba
- 2 eggs
- 80 g of butter
- 70 g of candied fruit
- 125 g sugar
- 125 ml of milk
- A sachet of dry yeast
- Sugar granules
- A coin
Preparation
First of all, melt the butter, let it cool and, in the meantime, warm the milk.
Procedure
Combine the two flours and mix them together with the sugar and yeast. At this point, add the eggs and mix. Add the milk and butter little by little.
Also mix the candied fruit and form a ball, leave to rise until it has doubled in volume (it could also take all night). The recommended time is in fact 12 hours.
Once ready, spread the mixture on a baking tray of about 30 cm in diameter.
At this stage, remember to also insert the lucky coin covered in aluminum foil. Now, cut the disk into 16 parts, wrap each petal twice on itself and leave to rise again for 30 minutes. Brush with milk, cover with granulated sugar. Put your cake in the oven and cook it at 190°, for 15 minutes.
