On the occasion of the celebrations for the centenary of SAISEF, Beppino Occelli, internationally renowned master cheesemaker, was one of the undisputed protagonists of the event held in Villanova Mondovì. Occelli and his team offered participants a journey into the world of Gran Riserva cheeses, showcasing the dairy excellence and passion that have always distinguished the brand.
The event featured a wide range of cheeses for tasting, with three masterpieces of taste taking center stage. The first was the Dolcetto-aged cheese, whose unmistakable aroma comes from the Dolcetto pomace. This cheese surprised with its complexity and full flavor, perfect for lovers of intense and persistent flavors.
No less appreciated was the Occelli in chestnut leaves. Thanks to the refinement in chestnut leaves, this cheese acquires aromatic notes that harmoniously combine with a soft and creamy consistency, offering a true sensory experience.
Closing the selection, the Occelli aged in hay and Baladin beer won over those present with its strong and aromatic flavor, the result of the ageing in mountain herbs and the spicy character given by Baladin beer. A perfect combination of tradition and creativity, which once again demonstrates Occelli's ability to reinterpret tradition in a contemporary way.
The event was a perfect opportunity to celebrate the excellence of the territory, where the passion for the art of cheesemaking and the quality of Occelli products have left an indelible mark on the hearts (and palates) of the participants. Beppino Occelli's Gran Riserva has confirmed itself as a symbol of quality and tradition, a perfect synthesis between innovation and respect for ancient artisan techniques.
