Ingredients
- 12 dried plums
- 12 slices of bacon
- 100 g Valcasotto®
- Balsamic vinegar glaze to taste
Preparation
The juicy and slightly acidic taste of plums pairs perfectly with the salty taste of bacon. To prepare a truly original appetizer, add a little of the cheese coveted by kings, Valcasotto®, inside each plum: the result will be surprising and you can serve a quick and easy appetizer!
Procedure
First, remove the stone from each plum.
Using a small knife, cut the plums, insert a piece of tasty Valcasotto® inside them, then wrap them in a thin slice of bacon and secure everything using toothpicks.
Place the rolls on a baking tray covered with baking paper and bake at 180°C for approximately 8 minutes.
Once the necessary time has passed, remove the pan from the oven and season the plum, bacon and Valcasotto® rolls with some balsamic vinegar glaze.
As an alternative to the oven, you can brown the rolls in a non-stick pan over a moderate flame, for 6-7 minutes.
